Tnpa5105 vs tnpa5081

I have a tc-p54g25 4 blink code turns out its sc board.

I have a good tnpa5105 from 50" would using it instead of tnpa5105 be bad idea? Just don't know if I want to rebuild the tnpa5081 to many horror stories.
I do have another tnpa5105 from a 42 needs rebuild

I thought I saw on here someone used 5081 instead of 5105 can't find it now.

Rebuild the 5081 the 5105 wont last long. Wont be easy but do as much research as you can before turning the Tv on. You could use the 5105 but you would need to change the erc parts as the panels are different size (54" bigger storage capacity) so the recovery circuit will need to be taken off the 5081 and installed on the 5105 not easy these aren't lol

Well looks like won't bother. When tv was delivered to me something hit screen nice spider cracks really bummed would been nice tv

Replaced sc and ss now 10 blinks even with boards dissconcted. And way to power on screen with out a board not sure how troubl shot a board. Prefer to fix instead replace
