    PDP Panasonic TH-R42PY80KA image posterization

    Panasonic TH-R42PY80KA (GPF11DE)
    MAIN TNPH0763
    HDMI ADV7495B BSTZ-170 (IC 4510)
After lighting burn-in HDMI, i was a replacement ADV7495B. Over a month all was well then after re-enable the image began to look with the posterization (color distortion in the form of steps of the gradient). Tried to solder the pins of the chip, to find possible short circuit in the adjacent elements, everything is clean. Moreover, the usual TV signal with built-in tuner is no distortion. All the HDMI inputs, analog with tulips give posterization. SELF CHECK - OK. Checked for short-circuit all resistor Assembly (blown away, re-solder), capasitors and resistors around the ADV, which could hurt when changing - nothing has changed. On the block diagram analog input and signal from the TV-tuner, go through the switch, and the HDMI directly to the ADV, then have to figure in the main percent, but from the TV-tuner the picture is normal, from all other inputs (analog and digital) image posterize. Tell me, please, what to check, anyone encountered like this? Thank you.

Sorry out of my league. I would say try a new ADV7495B chip.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Yes, I have replaced the ADV for a new one, nothing has changed. Ordered the switch IC3001.

I replaced the switch IC3001 new, and nothing has changed. Looked at the oscilloscope, it turns out everything that normally comes shows the signals in the lower rectangle in (component, scart, TV). The picture with the Posterize comes RGB_CVBS (analog video coming from tulips, figures converted from HDMI depending on the source)

Panasonic LED TV TC-40A420U - Replaced Backlight LEDs but now no image/display or garbled
          by signal.quest
I have a Panasonic LED TV TC-40A420U. The TV was given to me as an attempt to fix or throw out. I replaced the Backlight LEDs and now the screen lights up, but there is no image/display. If I play with the up/down buttons I can get the display to change from black to garbled. I can't get sound from HDMI but not sure of what input is selected. I have no remote control. When I connect a laptop to the HDMI ports it recognizes a Panasonic TV for display and sound output but I can't see or hear anything through the TV. This makes me think the mainboard is OK, but not sure if mainboard can...

          Panasonic OLED TX-65GZ950E no image
          by JSBJSB
          Hello everyone,

so I have this problem with this OLED that had a LED blinking issue at first.
It was blinking twice so it means according to similar service manuals (I cannot find the proper one) EVDD 24V SOS, Panel or TCON Fault.
Also, the connector from PSU to TCON which supplies 24V was burned (changed it) and saw threads about this topic but didn't relate completely to mine.

First thing was to tape the signal ERRORDETECTION so it would try to initialize. And it didn't so I unplugged the panel from TCON.
Then it started up and went to green light...

[REQUEST] Modify BIOS version of dumped image(Panasonic CF-RZ6)
          by thslr2020
          Hello.

I keep tried unlocking FIVR lock(XTU, Throttlestop) to do undervolting, but failed. What I tired is...

          1. Unlocked hidden menu >>> Disabled CFG lock, Overlock lock, SGX
          2. Replaced CPU microcode to 2017, 2018 version (pre Spectre, Plundervolt)
          3. Disabled Intel ME, Hyper-V & Vt-d
          4. Removed microcode update of Windows(mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll)
          5. Try from fresh Win 8.1(boot with USB)

Even I already did all of above, XTU and Throttlestop is still locked. So I think what I can do is downgrade the BIOS version, but...

Weird clipping on Logitech Z-10 speakers
          by dreamlayers
I bought used Logitech Z-10 computer speakers. They can act as a USB audio device or accept line input, and they have a headphone output jack. Some music didn't sound right, so I played a frequency sweep and heard other frequencies and beat frequencies between them and the sweep. I uploaded a spectrogram of a frequency sweep. From the very start, some but not all odd harmonics are visible, indicating symmetric distortion. Then at higher frequencies there are descending images of those harmonics, indicating non-linearity and constant higher frequency noise mixing with the harmonics. The image of...
