Tevion TV/DVD combo model number, 44904.

    Urgent!!!!

I took apart this crappy TV/DVD combo thing, to fix the power button which fell apart!!!!

Then this crap appeared they added this black round thing inside some cables to stop me open it up.

I then saw two silver screws holders fell inside the thing, so need to get into this to fix that.

What a piece of rubbish. Any HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

remove the contacts from the white shell unwind the cable from the inductor.
make a note first of how it goes back together!'

look at the white plastic shell, normally you can bend up a bit of the plastic to "unlock" the contact so it will pull out of the back.

look at the connector . there will be a bendy tab inside that locks the metal part in. bend it so it pulls out ..bend back to push back in .jewellers screwdrivers work well .
if it was me i might get the case warm and push it all through the gap .or take back of tv to see if it can be done that way .

Okay I got it out, then I glue the power button back on. I totally forgot what screw goes where.

So I this TV/DVD combo I got to put back together.
The LCD is easy just plug the connectors in the sockets.

I broke the pins of the LCD part of the connector on the lcd itself, the cable is fine I hope.

                  Need to replace it. HELP?

if you have a broken panel, you can swap the connector.

                                Introduction:
Hello everyone, this topic is more of a knowledge sharing and look inside type of post, but for someone working on this model of display it might be useful. Recently I bought Acer Nitro XV273 XB MIIPRZX with busted electronic, but screen was intact, price was incredibly low, so I took a gamble and bought the unit and try to fix it. As I dug inside, I found out that my motherboard was not responding, although all voltages seemed fine. I wasn't able to find any reliable information about this monitor on the web (only some pictures of motherboards from Ebay). By some research...

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?
                                by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

                                Fujitsu Aircon remote control
                                by t4796
I managed to drop this recently. It fell flat and square onto the floor from about 1.8m. Can't remember if face up or face down.
The remote still kinda works but the display is blank and only shows up if I repeatedly flick the little silver crystal/oscillator looking thing on the board.

Not sure if this part is the culprit or if flicking it is moving something else, but it seems localised to that component as far as I can tell.

Having trouble working out the value of it since it doesn't seem to have anything other than a brand name printed on the side of it....

Topcat's Supermicro X10DAI Build - Plus NVMe BIOS Mod Inside
                                by Topcat
Yes, I know I don't post this stuff much anymore....the only reason I'm posting this one is because of a NVMe adapter incompatibility; seems rather planned by Supermicro.....or I'm atleast a bit suspicious. It's plenty new enough to have a UEFI bios but a short 'happy list' of NVMe controllers that will work with this board, as if by some 'miracle', all Intel....so lets start at the beginning; we'll get back to this later.

Of course the motherboard is as the thread title states; X10dai....but we'lre going to have some fun shoehorning this into a modern 'gamer case' that can actually...

Lenovo 330-17-ikb, PowerLED on but nothing else

                                Hello dear forum members,

I have a friend's laptop (Lenovo 330-17-ikb) here that can be switched on (PowerLed lights up), but there is no picture and the fan is not running (CPU cold).
The battery is charging. If you switch off the laptop with the power supply plugged in, it switches on again immediately.
I didn't notice anything on the board when I first opened it. Only one thing, if you don't have the power supply plugged in and then switch it off, it stays off. Strange.

Then I removed the board completely because of strange smell and found a burnt chip...
