Hello Again. A friend sold me a faulty LED TV that he said would almost never turn on, and when it did it would turn off in a couple seconds. So I opened it up, and removed the power supply just to check for any obvious signs of damage and could not find any. Put it together to do some voltage readings whil trying to turn on and it turned on and sayed on. SO, it was going to be a bit difficlt to find the problem without it actually failing. So I decided to use it as my living room tv.
It has been a couple months and still has never turned itself off or failed to turn on. But I do have one small issue:
Sometimes when pressing the Power button to turn it on, the red standby light turns off, I have to press the power button one more time, and the light goes from off to green and turns the tv on. This happens randomly, some days it will turn straight on, from red light to green light.
Any Ideas? Where should I be looking? The power supply or the motherboard?
