newly registered here but alot of research on and off last couple of months . I have 2011 panny plasma witb main board issues since day one of brand new purchase back in 2011 / 12 right off the bat the ethernet port never worked but knowing id never use it becuase of roku stick and satellite i didnt bother taken tv back for exchange .
but over the years other ports started dropping off one by one leaving me now with only hdmi port 1 working ,
question knowing the average cost if you can find one online is anywhere from low of $100 to $300 which even a 100 bucks is almost to me not worth it is there another way to maybe try and DIY fixing this board which my unit is tnph0911ac aka txn/a1pmuus pcb main -a
ive done alot of google searches of diy repair but pretty much to no avail seem to always lead me to expensive purchase of new / refurbed board , i see other boards where they have " repair kits" available but nothing really on any main boards of any tvs not just panny's , i see no videos on u tube on possible way of trouble shooting main boards , just how to remove and install new board .
are there or is there a possible trouble shooting solution to why my board sliwly is dying? a known problem to look for on these boards ? i see no puffy caps or anything noticable like a burnt board area , fuse .. etc...
anyway appreciate any help on possible things to look for on the board or peplace that might be a possible swap out of cap or other part .
