Samsung: Only working with Coaxial input

    Hello everyone.
Looking for any insight as to why, after a PS board swap, my Samsung PN58B650S1F ONLY works with the coaxial cable input.

If I try and plug the HDMI cable in it will only work for about 30 seconds. After 30 seconds the tv will start to power cycle in the same manner that it did that led me to swap the PS. I have had the TV playing with no cycling issues now for several months but am growing tired of watching TV in standard definition.

In addition, if I try and connect say a usb thumb drive with pictures on it, it will also only work for about 30 seconds b4 going into a "power cycle".

Thanks in advance for any help
I cant break it anymore than it already is!

If two power supplies are giving you the same result then perhaps the problem does not lay there but on the main board.

If you could post clear sharp picture of the main board and also the power supply giving the voltages would be a good place to start.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

That's not quite how it happened.

The TV was working fine one day and my wife said it turned off by itself and then began to cycle on and off in the manner that a dead Samsung PS does. Nothing you did would make the tv come on and stay on.
A replacement PS was ordered and installed.
Once that was installed the tv would would turn on, and stay on. About 30 sec after turning to an HDMI input it would power cycle, in teh same fashion a dead PS does. Turn the tv on and use the coaxial input and it plays with no problem. It will stay on till you turn it off.

My adventure with this tv can be seen here.Lots of good pics, video and info if your willing to invest a few minutes in the reading.
