I am having this problem with my lg 60pa6500. I have tested VA and VS voltages and they are bang on. All the caps look to be in good shape and I see no burnouts on any of the boards. I also checked for a short on the upper and lower driver boards and didn't find one (hoping I did it correctly). I do get a picture however I have these vertical lines with almost square pixel clusters of different colours. Any help with possible adjustments or an idea of which board may be bad would be hugely appreciated.

Re: LG 60pa6500 coloured lines
situation like this , I'm thinking logic control board and I'm pretty sure LG have them so you can run test patterns isolating the main AV board. If it was the same that would confirm logic, you just need the relevant manual or guide to confirm the procedure and the jumpers to short on the logic boardLast edited by tw2005; 10-27-2016, 04:48 AM. -
Re: LG 60pa6500 coloured lines
generally that's the way it's done but I'm trying to find a guide to confirm it but there's bound to be someone who's worked on the LGs more.
I've never done it, just read of it
Only $14 at shopjimmy too if it isComment

Re: LG 60pa6500 coloured lines
Following Tom's advice in post #8 about test patterns, following that instruction it would appear they got the test patterns to generate.

by howardc64All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
- TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
- Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

by polaroGreetings,
I've bought a used Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC LED TV. It worked fine for some time and then developed, at first, a single very thin (1 pixel) vertical stable blue line, from top to bottom, close to the left edge of the screen. Now it's 3 lines on the left. When I connect HDMI sources the number of the thin lines grow. After disconnecting and cold discharging I am back to 2 lines. The lines disappear at a rate of 15-20 minutes per line. So it does not look like a damaged LED panel. Any advice? Thanks... -
by Stanley1843Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

by jeyoung12Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):
This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!
So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with... -
by ggil44Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
