I bought a Vizio E550VL that would light the Vizio emblem and click a couple times then become unresponsive. The Vizio light would stay orange. I removed the back and found the power supply damaged. I don't know what to call it (someone can correct me). On the upper left corner the power board XXX was broke. As a test I tapped it back together and the TV works fine.

by madsoxGreetings!
Thank you in advance for your understanding, I am writing to you through a translator.
A Harman Kardon AVR171S amplifier was given.
The history of the machine is as follows:
It was faulty when I bought it, I want to fix it.
I replaced the HDMI switch and one of the DAC ICs in it.
After that it worked without a problem.
I watched a movie using the amplifier, and at the end the amplifier got really hot.
The cooling was faulty, I will fix this later.
I switched it to standby mode, waited for...-

by MulpHi All,
I am having an issue with my Vizio M65-C1 where it does not turn on. When I plug it in the stand by light on bottom left of screen turns on (white) then fades away. If I press the power button it turn back on and then fades until it is super dim.
When I remove cover, there are no illuminated leds on the main board, I've seen others with a red/blue led that turns on.
I've done some research and what is interesting is my voltages all seem slightly different from other people. For example +5/3.5v is 3.48V when on which is different from others on here.... -
by MmattWorking on a Vizio e550i-b2 tv that won't power on. I have 4.97v standby with or without the main board connected. Based on some (bad) research this led me to replace the main board. Still won't power on. I'm getting 0v at the smaller connector above the larger connector where I measured standby voltage. The smaller connector is marked 28v. Also, there is no white light coming on under the power button. I resoldered the connector between the power board and board next to it (led board I think it's called). This is my first attempt at television repair and would appreciate any help.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.
