    Magnavox 42mf521d/37

I have a magnavox 42mf521d/37 that turns on for about 3 seconds then shuts off again. When I got it I noticed there were 4 caps that were bulged. 3 were 1500 uf and 1 was a 2200 uf. So I changed the caps, and same issue. I thought this was going to be a quick repair like all the youtube videos, but of coarse not.The main filter cap has 165 volts on it and when you push the power button it jumps up to 390 for 3 seconds then back down to 165vdc. There is 24v and 17 going to the main board, the rest are 0. And 24v going to the driver boards.

On this particular TV is there a standby voltage that is supposed to be provided by the main board?

Magnavox 27MS5402/17 CRT - no picture, flashing green light
        by sudz28
I'm going to assume my beloved Magnavox CRT is toast, but also figured maybe this was a good opportunity to dip my toes into he circuitry waters and maybe learn something new. Also, I don't want to trash it if it's a fairly cheap/easy fix!

My 20-year-old Magnavox has gotten me and my kids through many a gaming console change and worked great up until the other day. Following a long distance move, it sat in our garage for a year and now that I brought it in and turned it on I get no picture; instead, a green light blinks on the front of it; 7 flashes, one long flash, then 3 more...

Magnavox 32MD350B/F7 getting a false on/off control voltage
        by barrybahr
        Hello,
The unit is stuck in an intermittent on/off cycle. When I plug in the power cord, the green "On" light activates without any command, flashes for a few seconds, then turns off. The red standby light comes on for a few seconds before the cycle repeats. During this time, I cannot turn off the unit manually; it will shut off automatically after about five minutes, and there is no picture. Occasionally, with repeated attempts to power it on, I eventually get a picture and sound, which function properly. When it does work, I measure several voltages, and they appear to be normal....

        Magnavox MCS225/77 Replacement for UTC1316 or KA2214
        by pabloroggeri
Hello guys. I need a replacement for UTC1316 or KA2214, in my country I can't get either of them, it is for an inexpensive radio recorder, there is no point in searching for it on e-bay or Amazon. Thank you

I need help identifying the issue with my Magnavox MDR513H dvd recorder!
        by gilbert009
Hello! I am fairly new at repairing electronics. Recently I came across an old Magnavox MDR513H dvd/hdd recorder. It is not powering on. When the unit is plugged in, I get this really annoying beeping sound coming from the power supply.. I have already tried things like unplugging the unit for a few hours, holding the power button for a minute or 2. Nothing seems to make It work.

I found this guy with the same problem on YouTube -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFVm-SJX-S8
        -
I checked all over this video's comments but no one really helps him with the issue. except...
