    Sanyo DP47460

Just got one of these TV's that powers up to the Sanyo splash screen then shuts down. I was told that nothing has ever been done to it, but the power supply board has 3 different brand named capacitors in it. Rubycon, Nichicon, and one green Suncon.

I'd like to find out if these are the original caps before I go poking down the path of hacking up the audio circuit. The solder joints look factory, but if someone has replaced these with caps that were just lying around, who knows if they are even the correct values.

There's a schematic on the web for everything except the power supply board.

Is there anyone that knows of a way to get a schematic or component list for the power supply of this unit?

I removed the power fail diode and the set powers up and stays on. There's no sound because the audio amplifier has no supply voltage now. Does anyone know the point where you can supply the audio circuit with an external 13 volt power supply on this model?

    Here's the manual https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...6&d=1370375597

      What diode did you remove?

That video is a slightly different design. This board has no 13 volt test point marked on the board.

Does it have the same IC?

It does have the same audio voltage regulator, but the board is laid out differently.

What voltage do you have between Pin2 and Pin4, also between Pin7 and Pin 4 of IC1670

I already buttoned it up and using the tv with a sound bar, but IC1670 was getting a 24 volt input and 1.1v output. I'll try to check those pins when there's some spare time. Thanks for your help.

I suspect the chip is faulty as in the video and needs replacing.
