LG 55LD520C-UA Pink Veritcal Line 1/3 up from the bottom

    Good afternoon!

My friend brought me his LG 55LD520C-UA over with the symptom of goes from Red Stand by to blue on but no audio or picture.
I check the voltages and it was not getting the signals to the Power Board from the main board. Ordered a new main board from the LG distributor. I received it. Plugged it in. I now have a picture, audio and all controls, inputs work.

There is a pink veritical line up the middle starting at the bottom of the screen and going up only 1/3. The main board has the TCon integrated.

    Bad panel? Bad tcon cables?

    Thanks!

My bad about the tcon integrated. New main board went out after 4 days. Got it replaced under warranty. Plugged it in.... now i am playing the game of bad main, tcon, cable or some of the above.... what are your thoughts?

Can only suggest cleaning the LVDS cable with alcohol and reseating it carefully at both ends.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

If you carefully apply pressure to flex the corner of the panel do the line go or change indicating a tab problem, otherwise I can only suggest cleaning the LVDS cable with alcohol and reseating it carefully at both ends.

Panel failure possibly tab bond issue.

            Vizio M65-C1
            by mrtek
            Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
            by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

LG 55NANO913NA Purple / Pink Line / Spot
            by Vlad713
            Hello everyone,

I am struggling with an issue on my LG TV, as mentioned in the title - please see the attached photos.

The display / panel has been replaced in March 2023, under warranty - right before expiring after 2 years of use - due to a bunch of dead pixels.
Then in a few months the purple / pink line started showing up, however the LG service said that this is not covered by any warranty, anymore, since the original one has expired.

Recently I have just asked a repair firm to have a look and they have said that the panel needs to be replaced,...
