samsung PS42A410C1 turns on and off

first off all,sory for my bad englich!
there was the same treat post in march this year by daniel 1987
the sullution was replacing the av board!!
i think i have the same problem with my samsung PS42A410
but i would like to know if there is a possibility to repair the board!
for me its to expensive to buy a new board!!
i have been searching on the net about this problem i i found ,replacing the eeprom !a 24C256!? another problem!!i don t see this eeprom any where!!!
does anyone has more tips for me ?? or where i can download the repairmanual?putting new firmwere was also an answer i got!!?

yes i have!!
when i measer all the measering points are ok!
but i only have 30 seconds time !!!than it shuts off!!and starts again!
that s why i think ,power supply is ok!also when i put x or y board off ,the tv does the same!!!?so no short cut in these boards!!

So there are no shorted devices in the X and Y boards ? You need to check all the surface mount and devices mounted on a heatsink for short circuits. If they are ok you should then check if the Vs on and Ps on signals which should be 3.3v when the Tv is working stay on.

on the power supply its worth re soldering all components on the aliminium heat sinks even if they look ok re solder them all.

i have resolderd all the panels!replaised all the caps in the power board!
and the 3.3 v is there!!!the tv is playing ok for 30 seconds!!!

i get 1 tip from someone to put new firmwere on the tv!!?
but samsung doesn t give any firmware for this type of tv!PS42A410!
only the usermanual is given!?also no repairmanual!? i searched all the internet!

Try to place a clear one. TV will rewrite it with defaults.

Near the main CPU. Make hi-res photos of the board from both sides.

as you can see there is no gate for a usb stick to put firmwere on!!!!!???

check these, keep them cool while powering on and see if it stays on.

these are D1001 and L1003,they measer ok!
i spray them with cooling spray when i start the tv!no differens!?
still can t find any schematic off the AV board!?
from the power supply i found one on the internet!,nothing from the rest!!

to be 100% sure that it isn t the power supply!!!what can i do ???
how can i let the power supply work by itself!?
when i pull all the plugs out from the other boards and just put the 220 V
on the power supply !it s not working because it doesn t get the command for the relay
is there an oppertunity to let it work????

What part number is on IC3007 on the back of the circuit board?

To check power supply remove all plugs from board apart from mains. Find PSon and short to ground (make low) (relay should click in and small voltages should come up ) take VSon High to 5v stby using a 470-1k resistor (this should bring up the VS high voltage)

does the power supply need to be run with loads on the rails to run a proper test? as this is a intermittant fault that maybe heat/load related i guess,as we all know sometimes things fail only under load.

First thing is to see if the power board is working as it should, and not worry about loading the supply for now
