Sharp Aquos LC42D77X 2 short blinks

Hi fellas have a 42in Sharp Aquos with 2 short blinks on standby light. what I've read on cpl other posts is 2 short blinks is inverter/lamp error. This model has only one long inverter board and looking at it I noticed a brown burn mark. Closer look showed on back of board notice the arc hole just wondering if the lamps in picture are stuffed having that seeing they have that black little ring around them. My guess is Yes and its a throw out ?

Well i've been looking everywhere can't find a pic of a blown backlight . Anyone tell me if I should try replacing inverter board or not waste my money. Thought about building a test jig like Bud has shown but don't have a spare PS and doubt I'll use it much. Any advice appreciated. Cheers

Sharp Aquos LC-32LE700E won't power up / 2 short red blinks
      by Donald.Duck
If I turn on the Sharp LC-32LE700E the green light turns on followed by 2 short red blinks (and keeps repeating 2 short red blinks)

I could not find any burnt brown hot spots on the circuit boards or capacitors with leaking/bulging top or seals.

Hopefully somebody can help me to find out what the problem is / which components I have to replace.

I picked this TV out of a trash pile. When I plug it in I can hear the relay on the power supply “click” almost immediately, and then 7 seconds later there is another “click” and the power/OPC LEDs start to flash: two pulses on the power LED, one on the OPC LED. I didn't notice any sign of life from the backlight, but more on that below.....

The service manual () says this is a “DET_10V error: UR10V or A9V is not applied”, but after checking several voltages I believe the power unit is tripping off due to an overload as soon as the backlight tries to come on; this kills...

Sharp 80” long short flash backlight error - Help
      by Superbee_dad
      Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

      > I checked voltages on the power supply board and they all check out .. including 3.28 volts at the error pin.
      > There is power to the cpu and T-CONN and no faults found there. The cpu has a flashing...

      Sharp Aquos LC-40LE810E - 2 long, 1 short
      by FlorianP
      Hello,

First of all I am not native English speaking, so sorry for potential mistakes or misunderstanding.

I have a basic multimeter and a soldering iron. No electronic pieces for replacement for the moment, but I can buy some.

I have a Sharp Aquos LC-40LE810E with issue.
When I turn on my TV with the remote control, I have 2 long flashing on the boomerang symbol, and no image/no sound.
I saw in the service manual that I need to click on « menu » button of the remote control to have more information.

      --> Error core...

Sharp LC60C6400U - 2 long binks, 5 short blinks error code
      by Noobwithamultimeter
Hi, long time browser - first time poster. I got my hands on a Sharp LC60C6400U and from what I could find on youtube similar models of this set have a 12V power regulator that fails called "KIA378R12PI". So I go ahead and order the part, install it and badda-bing my set worked right away. Only a problem - it failed after about 3 hours. So I re-attempted my solder joints and it was back in business, for a couple of days. Failed again with the same error code. I think to myself no worries I have 4 spares since I bought a 5 pack in case anything went wrong. But now after roasting the solder...
