    Corrosion on Panasinic LED 55ET5

    Hi,
I have a corrosion on the bottom right and bottom center boards due to water that were stored there due to wrong way of cleaning the screen.
Panasonic didn't want to repair it so I tried myself.
The symptoms were vertical lines all over the screen.
I cleaned all corrosion from the boards and now nothing is shown on the screen, including the menu (I can see that the monitor is turned on).
What can I do next? Any recommendations?

    Thanks,
    Gil

Photos of the screen or the boards?
On the screen nothing is shown now (gray, but it looks like its turned on)
The boards are clean now but before i cleaned i saw the corrosion on the components.

It's extremely possible that the water has damaged the connections to the circuit board attached to the panel and may well be unrepairable. But without seeing the photo's I cannot be sure.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
              by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Hitachi 58HK6100U - Horizontal Lines (Bottom third of the screen)
              by kdaniel
As stated by the person I collected the TV from, it just stopped working overnight. However, I still gave it a go to try and repair it.

There is a thread on the same TV but with slightly different issues where they had to tape connection points on the ribbon cable, so I want to see if this is repairable by any chance.

After bringing it home and plugging it in, the TV turned on with its backlight working but had no picture. After removing the back cover, the first thing I tried is to unplug one of the ribbon cables and the situation is as follows.

              Left...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
              by smic717394
              Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

Laptop Screen top part working bottom part all white
              by dicky96
Hi guys, I have an old laptop here I'm just trying to fix for the fun of it really

The top part, maybe 25% or 33% of the screen display works, (DOS boot text or bios screen, I have no HDD fitted) but the bottom part is all white.

On an external monitor connected to the VGA the picture is good.

So basically I have a horizontal division, below which the screen is all white. There is no apparent damage to the screen or any vertical lines

I tried cleaning the pins on the LVDS connector plug/socket as thy looked a bit dirty (18 pins plus...

              Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
              by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...
