white oval (cloud) on old samsung lcd

has anyone ever seen this? it looks like water damage or severe case of screen burn-in, though why anyone would have a white oval on the screen i have no idea. i have opened it to see if there might be something physically on the lcd, but pressure to both sides has no effect.

Wow thats crazy lol looks like the foils in the glass are starting to part. Have you ever heard of the bacon trick ?

you sure do like bacon, huh? no, i have not tried rubbing my bacon on the tv. 0 effect with an ice cube with moderate pressure btw. and i did have the lcd off, you can easily see it from the other side of the screen.
