    Samsung UN65F6350AFXZA

Bottom half of tv is dim and flickers. Self diagnostics had TCom board as ng, replaced it but no luck. Seems to be a backlight issue. Is this the power supply or main board or backlight circuit. Any help appreciated.

Yes. You need to disassemble the screen until you get to the LED strips. Be careful when you open the screen because is very fragile. If you break it, the game is over. There is no way how to fix a broken screen.

Does it flicker less or not at all if you turn down the backlights level on the on screen user menu to may be 50%?

To clarify, when I turned down the brightness, the bottom half of the tv was just totally dark, almost not visible, but I did not notice if the lights were still blinking. If the LED are the problem, why do they flash and why would it be the whole bottom.

Are you talking about the Brightness or the Backlights level, they are not the same?

Great question, on the samsung I usually select the brightest mode. Which one I turned down, heck, I wish I remembered. Have it completely apart right now so a little hard to check. You are thinking its the led's since they are flashing, so must be backlights?

Right now have it completely apart. Reconnected power board and Main board and the bottom half definitely flicker. I thought to test to see if its actually the led's was going to try the bottoms on top and the tops on the bottom. Any other suggestions since I do not have any testing equipment.
