    Re: PN60E530 repair

    Hmm--'Mass produced junk Samsung buys....'

So--Analog Devices, Panasonic, Onn Semiconductor, Fairchild, ST Micro, Toshiba Semi, Fujitsu, Texas Instruments, SGS/ATES, Infeon, RENESAS, NXP, New Japan Radio, Lucky-Goldstar, There's more I guess too, Plus of course their own Samsung chips as used by many other makers All Junk--OK.....

Hmm--I'll have to remember that--For 30 odd years Ive been wrong!

I'm sorry--But you haven't a Clue what you are talking about!

Its the PDP that IS Junk, as its an 'E' Series Samsung PDP Glass--Not the parts DRIVING the bloody thing LOL!

Running at half cell light doesn't increase life either. The fact is during use the cells are Primed and are therefore wearing.

don't be sorry for me,why would i be asking if i knew.
why are the parts failing then and not the panel?
all mass produced electrical components have manufacturing defects.
i did read in a article that if you reduce contrast it help extend lifespan.
the colors are really overpowering at 100 anyways.
it says cell light don't matter so ill turn it up.
the panel is a e series probably standing for energy efficient.
energy efficient is a plus here because the energy company are robbing us.
another plus side is this panel runs very cool compared to my Panasonic p50s30.
the back top of the tv dose trap heat and get hot so im installing 3 120mm fans.
these fans will be on a separate power supply.
im keeping a regular oscillation fan on it while controlling room temperature.
i find the picture quality and colors to be satisfying after changing some setting's.
i know it's only a Costco tv but the guy still paid 2500 for it.
it's not like it's the first Samsung plasma ever made.
