It is extremely useful to post picture of the rear of the set showing the boards/board layouts and of decent quality for forum members to help you.
Are the leds flashing to a pattern.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Good riddance another shitty ass Vestel Tv failing ! This is not a missing voltage fault nor does it not need images to help us fix the set. The fault here is......... FAILING FIRMWARE AGAIN !

Luckily for you I have a thread with all the firmware for this Tv for FREE so all you have to do it follow the thread and reflash the firmware and you have a working pile of shit again

can't wait to have my pile of crap going again
although you're not wrong buddy. why does their firmware fail so readily apart from the obvious cutting costs!?
will try the update in the morning and post back then
              cheers

Awesome sorry to be direct lol the firmware is read off a spi flash Ic which if you didnt know they wear out fast after so many read and write cycles and the firmware which is based orf linux messes up and can't be loaded properly any more so the sets response is to lock out and flash the Led.

No worries. gave me a giggle anyway.
Is there anyway to get the set to read the firmware off a USB instead of wearing out the spa flash Ic?
I love talking bout things I've no clue about
im presuming every time it turns on it has to read again
                  gonna try usb stick now!

                    WOOHOO
It worked...TV back to its brutal Vestel best!!!
Tried as you said first with TV on put usb in and held OK on remote but nothing happened...tried this couple of times with no joy
Unplugged TV...popped in USB to lower slot and then plugged her back in with my son holding the OK remote button
within bout 3 seconds the LED flashed rapid
and within another 60 seconds approx the screen bounced into life
with the installation setup on screen...awesome
The folks will be delighted. just hope it lasts for while lol
it was bought January 2014 so probably passed its mediocre best
Seriously though, thanks so much for the help and files Reecey. as much as I like fiddling and fixing stuff I'm more used to cars then circuit boards.would love to learn tho!

                      Nice one

Prediction: I give it 4 months until the LEDs fail.

Just had quick look with 2 local stores here and neither even sell Pioneer. All Samsung,LG,Panasonic,Sony and then some cheapo brands
Few second hand Pioneers on adverts sites locally but big money!!

Freaky stuff...back in January I started this thread as the Toshiba was stuck with blinking LED. ReeceyBurger123 was good enough to help me out with a firmware update and got the tele back working. Today I was back on the site looking for something else and decided to brag that the tv was still working grand. I should of known better haha...came home and the tv wouldnt turn on Still had the files saved on my pc so followed same procedure as in January and thankfully it worked,YAY. props to MR.REECEYBURGER AGAIN!!!! wow i really did jinx myself today. lesson learned...still,I reckon its a bit weird that it decided to crash itself just when i post about it :o

Lol no worries, you never know when a Vestel is going to die just make sure after the software update to first time install the Tv and then turn the backlight down to low.
