Faded screen and crashed on Panasonic P55VT30

    Hello everyone,
So I need help with my Panasonic P55VT30 flat screen. I actually found this bute being thrown away, so I wanted to see if I could get it working.
The TV looks to be in mint condition, but when I first plugged it in, it would power on with no backlight or screen. I opened her up and found that the (from what i understood to be) SC board what completely disconnected. I plugged that in, and the screen actually turned on, although everything seemed to look washed out and colored over. If I actually press the menu/internet/viera tools buttons on the remote, the tv crashes, and gives me eight blinks.
I've tried to reseat just about every ribbon cable, to no avail. This problem seems really strange considering most people with the eight blink error can't even get the screen to come on.

I did notice that there were some empty ports on 2 of the boards, making me think they could have been replaced. Thanks for reading through this, also sorry for the low quality pictures.

Maybe check that the earthing pads on the sc,ss and the contact points are clean. then make sure every bolt is in and firm on those 2 boards.
This series seems to have issues with the screws working loose and arcing. often the Sc will blow but I have found screws on the SS loose so worth a go.

I checked and cleaned every contact point on both boards, and doubled checked that every bolt is tight. I took off the sc board and noticed what looked like tea or juice on the bottom of it. I'm guessing this board is to blame.

Another update, I was fiddling around with components on the sc board, and I actually got it to work in every way. Except the screen is still staticy, and I get a giant yellow bar on one side when I'm on hdmi.
