maybe a eeprom issue if so im not sure if you can download the firmware, failing that usually it means you need a replacement mainboard but make sure all the board number match even the ones on stickers etc

When you switch on now what is the sequence.
Does the TV come out of standby.
Does the screen light up very briefly.
Does the set go back into standby.

It's only shows a solid red light standby.
And it's not respond during using remote even manual switch.

take look deeply on the LED, its Red or Orange red

its eeprom fault on main boards.

try to write the dump of it or rebel it again ( some time also with hot air GUN heating it can bring it back ) , if not need replace main boards

Its not an Epprom used on these newer Tv's ! its an SPI flash Ic ! Tv's that use Epprom will have a flash stored on the ram bus which rewrites the data to the Epprom Ic every time the Tv is turned on which is more reliable. These newer ones store everything on the SPI flash Ic and load it off there every time the Tv is turned on and off which wares the Ic out fast and the firmware corrupts. I agree with vince try freezing the SPI flash Ic see if it boots then reload fresh firmware.

cheers reece i always get eeprom/spi ics mixed up but its worth a try freezing as you say nothing too loose i guess.

It didnt come across as harsh at all some times it takes a while to sink in my mind,the joys of getting old i guess.

still time too learn then i guess but as you have said with electronics etc were always learning, i just took this up as a hobby late in life as used to enjoy watching my uncle repair crts etc as a child.
