Can you post pictures of the back of the VT30 as it is right now?

The main boards are different the rest is the same. I've checked the numbers.
The Tc-p55gt30, works as shown in the pics. No more blinking led.
I take the sc board which originally came out of the tc-p55vt30 which had 7 blinks I think or 8 no cant remember now. I'll have to look at the first or second page of the thread.

The sc board had some shorted parts number 30F131 from the picture a new SC2 was shorted.
I sent it out for repair. When it came back today, I put it in the p55vt30, no more error led blinking but also no video, osd, nothing.
Put the SC board in the p55gt30 and it worked, except for the lines on the screen which you helped me resolve.
Took the SC board out of the working p55gt30, put it in the p55vt30 and nothing.
The green LEDs light on both on the sc and SS board but no picture.

Also , if both boards are the same in the GT and VT version but you only replaced the SC board then you might have bad buffer boards in the VT tv.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51SZsfH60EY

Check the buffer boards in the VT as Tom66 does in the video. If you hear a beep then its short and they need to be replaced.

The 55GT30 and the 55VT30 have a different mainboard i think but the sc/buffer boards might be the same.

You get 7 blinks with exactly the same boards as the GT? ( SC + buffer boards ? )

The picture looks better than on my lg 60pn6500. It's 5" smaller though.
I am missing a rubber stand and screw for one of the fans. Not sure how to go about locating one.

    Your welcome!

Maybe it's best to start a new thread for the other tv. Btw , it's a better picture then the tv you traded it for...right?
Picture setting on "dynamic" and you will see the power of the plasma.....

Now, why am I not getting anything on the p55vt30 with the same SC board and SS board.
Both tv's take the same part.
Could something else be bad on the p55vt30?

tip: Pull the latch as far as you can , remove the ribbon cable and reseat it. Look on both edges , you see there is a small "hook" that has to go into the latch. Try to put it in via the middle section of the ribbon cable...most of the times your hear a "click".

NO!! Never with tv on. Everything you do do it with the tv off and power plug removed.

The black components on the SC board are IGBT's and diode's. The IGBT's are listed on the board starting with "Q".
The other ones are diodes , they are listed as "D". ( D401 for example )

They work as the tv is displaying a picture! The black bars/lines on the GT model is because the ribbon cable is not lined up perfectly with the board. They need to be reseated.

Apply pressure on it while the TV is on?
What about those black components? What are they called and is it ok that some beep whit m meter on diode mode?

Still badly seated ribbon cables!! You need to recheck the ribbon cables on the buffer boards.

The black bars match with a ribbon cable , be gentle with it and apply pressure from the middle.

    Maybe a better picture.
The lines seem to correspond to where the ribbons go into the SU and SD boards. I already reseated the ribbons twice. Maybe faulty SD and SU boards on the p55tg30?

Doesn't explain the no picture on the p55vt30. I swapped the SS boards and made no difference.
Does it matter that some of those black components in the picture beep when I check then in diode mode? Some of the same components on both SS boars beep too. Normal?

Nothing with the tc-p55vt30. No blinking led.

Don't put these boards in other tv's that are already "bad". It can kill the new repaired boards.

The ones that beep probably have "D" in front of it. For example D401.

The black bars are probably badly seated ribbon cables. Look at my thread and check the pictures.
The led has to be green? Try and turn it on with the remote , hold the power button on the remote for a few seconds....

What are these black components is this picture?
When I test these with my meter in diode mode, the ones they replaced don't beep but some of the others do.

I installed the sc board. Hooked everything up. No blinking led. The tv powers on, led solid red but nothing really on the screen except for black and a darker black horizontal bar.
Not sure if it can be seen in the pictures. The picture is rotated 90 degrees.

Maybe the 2 buffer boards are bad?

Both of the sc boards arrive today. An special instructions? Or based on earlier results, should I just put them in and turn the tv's on?

If you want me to give it a shot, you can PM me. I see on ebay you can get it repaired for not too bad a price. One is $87.99 with shipping one way, another is $58.00 with $12.50 shipping one way. I am sure you get some sort of guarantee with it. Of course not sure on your SU board, the readings seemed a little strange to me, but tw2005 is the expert on the buffer check out. As long as there are no shorts in them I guess you can give it a whirl. Worse case, is you the 7 blink will go away but may not have a display. That's where I am at right now. You are right about trying to sell it. I just sold one to a friend of my brother and got $350.00 for it with wireless adapter, 3d glasses, stand and manual. It's a little scary selling to some one you know, cause you almost have to guaranty it for some time. There is nothing like Plasma quality, so not sure on my next tv cause plasma's are almost extinct new. I heard the new OLED by Sharp is suppose to give plasma a run for it. . Let me know if I can help.

Panasonic Oled 55EZ950E, no picture, red led blinking every 4 sec

Hi everyone, I have a Panasonic OLED TV model 55EZ950E, as soon as I turn it on I don't have any image the LED goes from green to red LED blinking every 4 sec, I found the service manual suggests checking OLED PANEL, PB BOARD, T-CON connectors but it seems like everything ok, I didn't find any burns under the pb board
I attach a link to download the service manual, thank you for anyone who can help me

    Panasonic PF50G20S blinking 13 times
    by CoinCoin88
    Hello there,

Google led me again to badcaps when trying to troubleshoot a dying Plasma that is sitting at my uncle's roughly 550 km from where I am. It's an old G20 from 2010 or so, that isn't being actively used so you can consider the panel "not too sollicitated".

Symptoms: TV starts, works for 5-10 minutes, then screen turns black and safety kicks in and spits a 13-blink code with the red LED. Once this code kicks in, the TV will not display any image anymore. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it again, it'll work then fail a few minutes later.

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
    by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

    Hey everyone!

I've gotten this TV for free, neither have it seen a TV repair man, neither have it been opened before.

This post describes my entire troubleshooting process of this TV.

When I turn it on using the ON/OFF switch at the side of the TV, the light rapidly flashes green, then it stays on, but it does not react to any of the remote buttons, side buttons, and doesn't play audio.

I've taken the unit apart, and I've started to check some voltages:

    • On the P11 connector, there is 15V DC only for a brief moment, then it goes

Panasonic Oled TX-65FZ800E, no picture, red led blinking every 4 sec
    by Tof
Hello everyone, here is the issue I am facing with my Panasonic Oled TX-65FZ800e.

When the TV has not be used for some hours, I power up the TV with a video input and the image is displayed perfectly for 30seconds and then the TV switch off with the red light blinking every 4 seconds for ever.
The service manual explanation: EVDD_SOS (EVDD 24V error) with check point (oled panel, P board, A board, T-CON)

I opened it and found a burned connector on PB-board on the 24V pins.
The 24V wires have change a bit of color due to the overheat and the corresponding...
