I think I've narrowed down the problem but wanted to run it past everyone first to make sure that I'm not missing something.
The TV initially fell victim to a very close proximity lighting strike which left it with the inability to turn on and unsightly PSU / Main Board burns. After swapping both boards out it still refused to turn on.
So after extensive reading of these forums and troubleshooting I have the following results.
With P231 Unplugged from CTRL Board and EXT_AUTO_GEN jumped along with RL_ON / 5.2 jumped on the PSU the TV sprang to life in test mode.
This should point to the Main Board being bad but since it was just replaced with a Main Board from ShopJimmy.com I wanted to make sure it wasn't the Power Button / IR Receiver. Checking Voltages from p501 connector on Main Board while hitting Power on TV and remote showed the following.
1 - 0
2 - 3.25v
3 - 3.25v
4 - 0
5 - 3.21v
6 - .203 (I think this is with the MM since VS TP tested the same way)
7 - 3.20v - Jumps all over when hitting the TV power button
8 - 3.20v
9 - 0
10 - 3.14v - Jumps all over when hitting the remote power button
So, does it look like the Main Board? Anything else I should test before I claim it's bad?
