    Sanyo Dp50843-00 Power On Issue

    above Model when plugged in no indicator lights (Standby or Power) Set appears to be dead. All voltages on PS are correct. If I press the power button once and walk away the set will come on in 5 to 10 min and work normally. What am I missing?

    Here is a WAG: take freeze spray or a can of air upside down and freeze the EEPROM on the main board. Then turn the TV on. See what happens.

      I have already tried that plus heating the eprom. No change. I don't mind ordering the main board if this is the problem.

        If you haven't heated up the capacitors on the main board already, I guess it's time for a new board.

          Replaced EPROM $15.00 Working Great now
