Nice one Best to use hot air on them cheap boards IMO others like Vestel fine to use an iron.

Yes thats my next purchase a hot air station, ive managed without untill now but it certainly would of helped on this set, it was my own fault i removed th eeprom fine solderwicked the pads added more solder then soldered one leg on it was on a little crooked so i thought i would twist it a bit but didnt heat the soldered leg enough hence the lifted /broke pad.

Great thanks did you read the contents of the eeprom before you put it on the board? If so any chance of having a copy of it? As I am pretty certain the issue is the same for my board.

Just a update i was waiting untill i received a secondhand stand for this set which has now arrived so ive been watching this to soak test etc, i must say the picture quality on these isnt that good im not sure what panel it uses but will take the back of and have a look at some point.I have also noticed in the menu there is no option whatsoever to drop the led backlights level theres only the option for the brightness, whats also odd is ive done a factorty reset and also channel rescan twice and for some reason it wont pick up any freeview hd channels (my other sets do no problem).BUSH LE46GL12E 46" LED TV

Hi guys anyone know what format movies need to be to play via a usb stick i keep getting video not supported messages (ive just tried mpeg 4) the sets a BUSH LE46GL12E 46" LED TV can anyone advise what format it should use thanks.

just tried both no joy still says video format not supported it plays music fine through usb fash drive but ive tried mp4 avi mkv dvix movies none are supported?

that im not sure when i go to source then usb a screen comes up says photo music movie text, i have tried some music on the usb flash drive and it plays fine.

Try a few different .avi files. The avi is only a container, not the codec. Maybe it doesn't like that codec used.

These Tvs you should find a way to drop the Blon voltage so the Leds aren't being pushed as hard. They burn out very fast.
