Toshiba 32LV67U needs siene reprogrammed svc menu

I have a Toshiba 32lv67u (32" LCD/DVD combo) that I am trying to repair. It had the dreaded '3 blink' error which meant that the siene board would not boot up. I tried the sd card reload instructions found on http://www.benjammin.net/www/pages/t...a-42HL167.html - But that did not work.

Next I tried sending the siene to an ebay repair service who purported to fix 99% of all '3 blink' errors. I am not sure if he tried to replace the IC 115 flash chip or not but he said it was toast and didn't charge me.

So I bought another PE0361A siene on ebay (from a 32HL67U). This page said that they used a siene from a DLP tv on an LCD and it worked fine.
    http://www.plasmafix.com/plasma.php (search for PE0361A)

When I put my new board into the TV, it seemed to work fine but with several caveats.

    1. No sound through the speakers on the TV tuner or any input (all input's video works).
    2. The built in DVD works but no sound except on the optical output.
    3. The TV tuner will only find analog channels (my in house modulated channels) - No ATSC channels are found during a channel scan.

I tried a factory reset, tried upgrading to 2007sen069 (see first link), and I tried mucking around in the service menu after finding the manual on electrotanya. But still the issues above remain.

An pointers on how to get this TV setup right?

As best as I can tell everything is setup right in the service menu. These are the settings that the service manual prescribes:

Re: Toshiba 32LV67U needs seine reprogrammed svc menu

Well maybe my first post on this subject was somewhat incoherent. After all, I didn't even spell seine correctly. But even with seine spelled correctly, my TV still is not working right.

I decided try one more trick by swapping the io/tuner board. I figured that perhaps a power surge that took out the seine had also damaged the io/tuner board. So thanks to ebay, I obtained another PE0248A board for $12 shipped. I studied other parts for similar TVs and found that there was also a PE0248B tuner board that married up to the PE0361A seine. Close inspection of pictures showed that it was the same except for some missing connectors necessary for the internal DVD player (which I have). That eliminated my fear that the seine and the i/o were highly specific to each other. So I got another PE0248A.

But ultimately, my theory was proven wrong when I swapped in the new board and the TV behaved exactly the same as before (No sound and no ATSC channels).

So can any one please help me figure out what settings need to be changed in the service menu so this TV stops being senile (or is it seinle in Toshiba lingo)?
