    Philips 32PFL3505D/F7 no power fix.

I picked up this set today. A Philips 32PFL3505D/F7 with an A01FDMPWA power supply. No response from the power button at all. I opened it up and eventually found a shorted FR154 diode at D631 (at the tip of the screwdriver in the attached pic). I found an identical diode on a parts board, installed it in the board, and the set fired right up once it was back together. Unfortunately, this one came with a broken screen. Maybe those of you that find this thread via the search function or Google won't have the same misfortune.

Nice fix, but shame this is just a Funai junker inside :/ What happened to "quality", Philips??

I think I read on here recently that Panasonic is now under the Funai brand as well. It's a shame really. It all has to do with keeping up with your neighbors.
