Does anyone have any idea's what would be causing the distorted picture on my plasma tv? The sound works just fine. I looked for bulged caps no they appear to be fine. The tv turns off and on like it should,

Looks like Zsus to me, Ysus failure normally wouldn't give any image. Zsus would cause distortion. I tested all voltages at the connectors and all are good except on the bottom connector on the left side of the power supply, the first wire is marked 3.4v-ON and it is reading 4.7v , All others marked 3.4v are reading 3.38v. Any reason why this one would read high?
As far as checking for shorts I can take readings and post them or if you tell me what something should read and how to test it.Comment

KDL-60EX500. Comes on fine, sound is fine, backlights come on. Blank screen. Already tried reset POWER/VOL-. Anyone else have this problem? Possibly bad T-Con RUNTK4244ZZ or panel? Could main or power supply cause this? There were 2 blown 560u 35v on power going to backlights but they were still working fine. Thanks for your help. -
Got a case of something new weird at work. There is an old 2nd gen Intel i3 in an old “Pizza box” shell that has a small form factor power supply. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures and model number off it.
Anyway, I get to work and get to look at this computer. Standby LED on the PSU is on, but the computer won't start. Hmm o.k. take the battery out of the main board try again, nothing.
O.k. then… unplug the power supply from the main board and put in a full size ATX PSU (yeeeesss! Exact that blown Powerman IP that I fixed a while back), plug it in and the old...

Hi All,
I rescued an LG 42LC2RR TV from the trash and it's been running great for 3 months.
The last week there was a blast of distortion for a second when I played videos. Now the distortion is continuous.
I've tried two different devices (laptop and set top box) and two cables and all the same.
SCART to composite is working fine.
Changing the volume level on the laptop makes no difference to the sound level on the TV.
It's a shame because it's an old TV but the picture and sound are (were) great!

Hello guys. I have a problem with a PNY XLR8 GAMING RTX3090 graphics card. The problem is that it displays and works fine, but the fans don't spin at all. The problem occurred when someone else removed the fans in order to clean it and broke one of the fan connectors. He replaced it himself and after that, it wasn't working anymore. I guess he damaged something else in the process. What i have done so far: I found 2 capacitors next to the connector that were in a bad shape, he must have touched them with his tools - they weren't shorted, but i replaced them with similar ones from a similar card....04-12-2024, 06:54 AM -
My Yamaha MOX8 synthesizer recently developed two issues.
Firstly, after booting up, it operates as normal. However, after about 5 minutes, the sound starts to get distorted (broken up screeching sound) almost like putting it through a guitar distortion pedal. After a while, the distorted sounds will go away for a while and comes back. At times, the synthesizer will also freeze I need to power off and on again.
Secondly, when powering off and on again, there will be times where the synthesizer will freeze during the boot sequence (freezes at the MOX8 Opening Screen),...11-07-2024, 03:28 AM
