Samsung UN50F6300AFXZA Has anyone heard of or seen a "image flip" problem?

This is actually a claim from an ebay buyer on a mainboard that I tested.

    What he says...

" The video image is flipped horizontally. I reset the TV to factory settings both in the standard menu and also in the hidden Samsung service menu accessed by typing Mute-128 on the remote and the TV still does the same thing."

I've just never heard of this. Would it definitely be caused by a mainboard issue? What if he's trying to hook this main board up to an incompatible model TV? Thanks for any ideas!

I think there has to be the proper setting in the hidden service menu adjusted cording to what panel you have. A reset in the hidden service menu should not rectify this problem. To me he just hasn't set the panel in the service menu properly.

Enter service menu and see if image flip is available
or check panel type ,note the setting and change if necessary and see if you can get the picture to flip
Otherwise firmware update should fix the issue
      I suggest the firmware first
I have replaced many Teac main boards and some have behaved as you have flip image ,but a firmware update fixed the issue

If there is no setting for flip image in service menu try different model numbers in setting if avaliable
