    Samsung LE52F96BDX Clicking...

    Hi
I wonder if anyone can give me any idea what to do to get this working?
Has clicking sound coming from power board which seems to be coming from blue 'relay' CX8035. The power board is BN44-00186A.

I thought I had narrowed the problem down to the mainboard BN41-00919B by disconnecting all boards and finding that the clicking only comes back when the mainboard is plugged back in to the power board! Having sourced another mainboard, the click is still continuing once its plugged in again.

There were a few caps on the psu with high-ish esr readings which were replaced (35V 1000uF) but clicking still continues.

    I have checked the fuses, all are ok. I have taken some readings which I'm sure are ok and are as follows;

    CNM802 to inverter
    1 120v
    2 120v
    3 120v
    4 120v
    5 0.60mv
    6 0v
    7 0v
    8 0v
    9 12.1v/1.6v (with clicking on/off)
    10 0v
    11 7.5mv
    12 0v
    13 5.4 to 6.4mv
    14 10.1mv

    CNM804 to mainboard
    1 0v
    2 5.2v
    3 0v
    4 4.9mv
    5 0v
    6 0v
    7 1.1mv
    8 0.7mv
    9 0v
    10 2.3mv
    11 2.3mv
    12 17.5mv
    13 15.3mv
    14 0v
    15 0v
    16 2.1mv
    17 0v
    18 0v
    19 0.6mv
    20 0v
    21 0v
    22 0v
    23 1.5mv
    24 21.3mv

I hope this info might help in some way! Thanks in advance.

      Oops, sorry, of course. CNM804 pins 1-24 are shown in pic 3. the CNM802 pins are labelled as follows;
      1 120v
      2 120v
      3 120v
      4 120v
      5 N.C.
      6 RTN GND
      7 RTN GND
      8 RTN GND
      9 12V
      10 RTN GND
      11 N.C.
      12 BL ON/OFF
      13 Analog Dimmimg
      14 PWM Dimming

Hope this is ok, or would it be easier to list the others?

      thanks again.

        'CNM804 to mainboard
        1 0v
        2 5.2v
        3 0v
        4 4.9mv
        5 0v
        6 0v
        7 1.1mv
        8 0.7mv
        9 0v
        10 2.3mv
        11 2.3mv
        12 17.5mv
        13 15.3mv
        14 0v
        15 0v
        16 2.1mv
        17 0v
        18 0v
        19 0.6mv
        20 0v
        21 0v
        22 0v
        23 1.5mv
        24 21.3mv'

OK, you count the pin wrong because pin 2 is N.C. (NO CONNECTION) and you are getting 5.2VDC.
Pin 3 id the STBY5.2VDC and you are getting 0.
Pin 1 is the PS-ON pin which is the turn on command signal from the main board and you are showing 0VDC.
Please take the readings again and please put the pin names next to the readings so I do not have flip back and forth between your readings and the pictures of the pin names.
The connector is arranged in ODD and EVEN row.
