Panasonic TX39A300B Back cover removal
HI All
Hope someone can help. As above, for some reason I am having great trouble removing the back cover to this tv. Before someone says 'if you can't remove the back cover, should you be poking around in the electrics?", I have a lot of experience repairing tvs. I just don't want to damage the intact screen just by trying to get inside. I currently have 15 plastic plectrums inserted around the edge of the tv but even with that and trying to lift any tangs I cant release it. All the screws are removed BTW. Does anyone know if theres a special technique that'll help?

Re: Samsung LE40M86BD missing HDMI in source list SOLVED
Can't believe I was so stupid!
I had the wrong source (HDMI) installed. Thought it was pink plugged one from sky box but that was wrong one! Used the right one and all working as normal. Tried all HDMIs one by one and they all show up in source list!
Thanks again.

Samsung LE40M86BD missing HDMI in source list
Hi
As above, after a recent factory reset, the only options for source select are TV, EXT1 and EXT2. Entering the menu and source list everything bar the mentioned sources is greyed out. I have the exact same problem with another Samsung LE40M87BD. Looking for an answer online tends to throw up a 'factory reset' solution which works in some cases but not in most cases. Does anyone else have experience in restoring these functions please? I have factory reset this tv 4 times with the same result!

Re: Samsung LE40C750R2K horizontal lines
Hi
No, the issue wasn't fixed. The TV was for sale very cheap and I was asking for advice before I bought it but decided against it in the end. I like a simple fix! LOL. Good luck with yours.

Hitachi 48HBT62U firmware
Hi
Have searched the forum looking for an answer but no real luck. My tv powers on ok with backlights which stay on but the screen is blank. I'm assuming its corrupted firmware as usual. Am I correct in saying that to reflash the firmware I will need more than one file on my usb stick? Another user kindly uploaded the 17MB97 firmware which contains only the 'upgrade_mb97.bin' file. Is this correct? As I have tried this with no luck!
Thanks

Samsung LE40C750R2K horizontal lines
Hi All
Please could I ask a quick question on whether the stripes onscreen showing on menu items is fixable or worth trying to repair? I haven't acquired it yet, but if it's not an economic repair, I won't bother taking the project on! Hope this is OK?

Toshiba 32W3453DB firmware?
Hi
Hope you guys can help. Had the above TV with powering on fine, but blank screen (backlit) power cycling after 10-15 secs or so. Had a spare mainboard which when fitted seems to work ok (can see on screen menus etc) but displays the message in Russian (I think!) on screen. The set doesn't react to the remote control but buttons on back work ok. I can't factory restore the set without the remote (or can I?). Would it be possible to restore the firmware to correct the issue and enable me to operate the set normally?
Thanks in advance. Les...

Re: Samsung UE32C6510 Red LED flashing not powering on.
Hmmm, tried the firmware option by USB but its not working. Any ideas where to go next? Is there a way to force read the USB stick, as I don't think it was read on startup? Oh, there wasn't a pdf doc included...
ThanksLast edited by lesnajair; 11-16-2016, 05:47 PM.

Samsung UE32C6510 Red LED flashing not powering on.
Hi all.
Looking for help on the Samsung above please. A friend said that he tried to update the firmware over air, onscreen notification said tv would turn off and then back on after 3 seconds. It didn't turn back on and now the front red led flashes slowly and TV makes a clicking noise. I've taken the rear cover off and nothing appears to be blown or burnt out! Possible corrupt firmware or incomplete download maybe? Hope this info helps?
Thanks for any advice....

Panasonic TX-37LZD80 Green power led rapid clicking
Hi
I wonder if anyone has experienced this before. Link is to youtube which shows exactly same problem with set I'm working on. I've located a repair kit and checked the components in the kit to my set but all seem to check out fine?

If I disconnect the bendy connector highlighted, I get a red led 4 blink flash at the power button, if that helps? Disconnecting the inverter board still gives the rapid green flash though!
I hope the photos are ok!
Thanks in advance.Hi

Re: Anyone used www.PCBParts.co.uk?
Thanks Hamie. Phone is Tesco mobile, think he's one man band too. Prices are pretty reasonable, so will wait until weekend to see if anything happens. Still need that 22D1333b main board!!

Anyone used www.PCBParts.co.uk?
First of all, sorry if this is the wrong forum or whether allowed. If not, I'll delete it!
Usual thing after receiving advice here, I search for a TV part and the above result comes up. Thought I'd try it as its UK based and not eBay! Placed my order, goes through payment taken, invoice and delivery info received by email.
Over a week later part not arrived. Starting to get concerned, I email them, email bounces. Ring contact number numerous times straight to answerphone. Now I'm even more concerned, that it's a scammer.
Just thought I'd check here for anyone...
