I have picked up this TV and trying to repair it.
It is the mainboard the problem, I have concluded that, by removing the main harness and the backlight it's turning on.
I'm measuring components on the mainboard and I can't figure out where the problem is.
I have heated up a VDO close to the main harness connector, which it seems like it is delivering the 3.3V which is not switching on an off, which is weird.
By heating it up, eventually the clicking will stop. When I monitor this voltage, it will drop toward 0V then the clicking stops. As soos as I remove the heat, the 3.3V comes back. I will have to turn on the TV again the clicking to return.
The enable input gets 5.3V even when the TV it id in standby, which is weird, no? It should go high, when I turn on the TV.
The VDO designation is JJ=N1J, it could be a SOT-23-5 VDO of 3.3V?
I have found this info at the s-manual site. I don't see the 3.3V marked on the component, though.
By the way what kind of components are the BD ceramic capacitor looking ones? They measure 0.2Ohm.
