Samsung LED UN55D6200 - vertical wide lines

    Hello,

    I have a TV Samsung LED UN55D6200.
Untill yesterday night everything worked fine.
Today I switched on the TV and remarked that there is only the voice.
On the screen you can just see vertical wide lines/columns (see attached pictures).
Does anyone know what this probleme could be and how I can fix it?
When I change the channels the colour changes very slowly.

Looks to me like your panel has failed. Unfortunately, it is not fixable.

How is it possible to know if the panel has failed?

Seems to be the same problem as here:

This is a common symptom of panel failure. You can try removing one of the ribbons from the tcon (on the side closest to the edge of the panel) and see if that brings back half a picture (we often find one side shorted affecting the other.)

Unfortunately if the panel is bad it will not be economical to repair.

I touched the cable between T Con and Mainboard and then I have seen a picture.
Unfortunately I could not repeat it.

Re: Samsung LED UN55D6200 - vertical wide lines

Later on yesterday I switched on the TV and the screen was again dumbled. After 20 / 30 minutes the screen started to be clear again and I could see everything normal.

Attached you can see some test pictures that I could start in the TV Settings (IMG9459 / 9460).

Today morning I started again the TV and the picture was half dark half ok (see attached picture IMG 9462). After having switched on the the black and white test picture (IMG 9463)nothing changed but then at the colourful test picture (IMG 9464) everything was again perfect.
Please remark that today morning I had a good picture after 1 min.

Do you still think that the panel is failed?

              I hope not so.

                3rd, 4th and 5th look like a panel fault
Can't be sure about 1st and 2nd (on mobile right now and can't enlarge thumbnails)

The 5th is ok. The dark shadow is just from the test picture.
I have read that the problem might be the following cable that goes from T Con to the display.

Colorful LCD Vertical Lines on Samsung ue55es8090
                    by Falki
Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

                    Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
                    by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

                    by x_orange90_x
I posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.

The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went...

Thin stable coloured vertical lines on Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC come and go
                    by polaro
                    Greetings,

I've bought a used Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC LED TV. It worked fine for some time and then developed, at first, a single very thin (1 pixel) vertical stable blue line, from top to bottom, close to the left edge of the screen. Now it's 3 lines on the left. When I connect HDMI sources the number of the thin lines grow. After disconnecting and cold discharging I am back to 2 lines. The lines disappear at a rate of 15-20 minutes per line. So it does not look like a damaged LED panel. Any advice? Thanks...
