Samsung UN46D7000 vertical lines after 3 hours of turn it On

    Hi

I bought this TV 2 years ago and over the last month after the Tv stays turn on for about 3 hours aprox, it appears vertical lines from the right and fills the screen after all day of the TV functioning. The only way that the lines disappears is if a turned off the TV and unpluged from the electrical outlet for about 1 or 2 days (sometimes 3 days), then the problem come up again. I talked with the samsung service (they had not checked the TV) and they told me that it is possible that the panel is damaged, but other friends told me that it seems heats problem. I started to put a fan behind the TV after I turned it off because the lines and it seems that it helps a little, the time I have to wait to turn on the TV and the lines dissapears is 1 day and a half in some cases.

Please I really appreciate your help and some guidelines to address this issue.
Attached are the images after 3 days of functioning the Tv without unpluged.
    Thank you

      Thank you for your reply.

In this case, Could the "gap thermal" procedure fix the tab bond heat problem?

      Regards

Yes if you can pad the bonds down with a thermal pad then it should be good.

I have the same TV & same problem. Got my TV in 2012. Lines started 2 months ago although not quite as bad as yours. Lines are constant. Its a poor reflection on Samsung in that they have numerous QC issues with pricey tvs. I'm not happy.

Hello, I made the tab bond procedure, but when I turned on the TV those lines appear on the screen. At the first moment there was 8 lines, when it pass about one hours 3 lines gone away.

Any further help I really appreciate.

Unfortunately, with these type of tab bond fixes there is no definite way to make them work. If there was, then 1000's of TV's would be saved from the landfill. You've pretty much done all you can.

                Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
                by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

                Samsung UN46C8000XFXZA vertical bars/horizontal lines
                by x_orange90_x
I posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.

The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went...

Thin stable coloured vertical lines on Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC come and go
                by polaro
                Greetings,

I've bought a used Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC LED TV. It worked fine for some time and then developed, at first, a single very thin (1 pixel) vertical stable blue line, from top to bottom, close to the left edge of the screen. Now it's 3 lines on the left. When I connect HDMI sources the number of the thin lines grow. After disconnecting and cold discharging I am back to 2 lines. The lines disappear at a rate of 15-20 minutes per line. So it does not look like a damaged LED panel. Any advice? Thanks...

Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 - Pink vertical lines due to chipped LCD panel?
                by Anonmis
Hello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.

The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly...
