It will not turn on just clicks over and over but when the t con is disconnected it makes the power up sound

not sure if this helps but have you tested the x-main for shorts plus the Y-sus/buffer board ?
i recently fixed the ps42c450 im wondering if its the same where a faulty x-main can take out the ybuffer and y-main as well
