This is a PDP tv. If it is left unplugged for a while, it will power up fine and all voltages are present. If it is turned off, it won't power up again. The voltages are there for a few seconds except for the VS, it just goes to 60v then down to about 1-2 volts. I resoldered all the parts on the heat sinks of the power supply and still no luck. Anyone ever worked on one of these before? Also, anyone know where I can find a service manual?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Dell laptop (E7440, uses the notorious CD3301B power controller + MEC5075 EC + BQ24715 charger IC)
Symptoms:- Laptop works normally on a pre-charged battery.
- Battery does not charge when adapter is connected.
- Without battery:
- Laptop powers on from DC adapter, passes CPU/RAM init checks, then cuts DC power abruptly.(seems to shutdown one of the mosfets in the charger path). Then the loop continues indefinitely
- Speakers “pop” when power cut occurs indicating harsh sutdown.
- If RAM is removed, the system shows RAM missing blink error code indefinitely without cutting DC power

Hello guys,
I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
