    Same results with a new battery in. my cheap mm doesn't beep. I Will be back later with a new/different one. In the mean time.. How does dirt and dust cover just the area under the SS board??

      Can be due to static.

      Ok set meter to diode mode and test these components marked in red... Black probe to tab in blue and red to leg in green.

      results?

        Two on left =120(+/-5)
        On right=110 (+/-5)
        All legs fluctuate slightly..

          Ok. Retested the components you suggested in your pics. Black probe to tab in blue and red to leg in green.
          My results from top to bottom in reference to the pics of same components added..
          Top to bottom order:
          1st= 497
          2nd=497
          Second group:
          3rd=395
          4th=395
          Are these normal?
