I've got a 40PFL4707 that was dead, so I replaced the power supply that didn't fix it. I got the new one, that did not fix it so I checked the pins on the ribbon cable where it connects into the main. It had voltage on and on the board. So i ordered a main board and installed the damn thing still don't work. it. Does anybody have a schematic for this tv? I need to confirm the voltages going into the main, and from the main to the ir board. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Philips 40PFL4704 dead
Any good clear pictures of the whole back side of the TV to show all the boards and how they are connected together? That will be a start.Never stop learning

Re: Philips 40PFL4704 dead
This looks like 40PFL4707. I am working on repair of this TV for last 4 years now. Its become my favourite past time hobby. Incremental progress.
If you find source for these ribbon cables, do let me know too.
Here are my suggestions. Look at my thread. I have attached service manual for this TV. You should check following voltages
AL+3.3v
LED+24v
P-ON+21v(12v)
Pin 3 of IC3008, IC3001, IC3003
Also check the voltages on CON3 on LED driver board for LED-1, LED-2, LED-3,LED-4..it should show around 11v
