    matsui 37 inch,mat37lw507,lcd tv

    my delemer is,the tv will work off the scart socket,the rest of the conections on the main board dont work,no signal on the arial input,is this a main board fault,the board is,17mb12-3 180308 v1 lf,power board is a ,17pw20-1

      I recently picked up a used Matsui 175S microwave that was powering up (starts, turntable rotates) but not heating. From looking online the most likely culprit was the fuse, but unfortunately in this one the fuse had heated up and fused with the (badly designed) fuse holder and couldn't be removed. I guess this might indicate further issues beyond the fuse itself but at this stage I just want to replace the fuse and see how I go from there.

      Anyway since I couldn't get out the fuse itself the easiest fix was to replace the fuse holder assembly that runs between the...

      Panasonic TX-P42G20B restarts and no video only when arial connected

      Got this Panasonic plasma. TV works fine on HDMI and other inputs, and plays dtv for a short while when switched on from cold. However if an arial is plugged into it - no matter what input is selected - it will reset after about a minute, and then every 15 seconds or so after that. When it immediately comes back on it will be on dtv input ( no matter what you were on before) with sound and tv guide working fine, but no dtv video showing. Video will not show and it will reboot constantly unless you switch off and leave it for a while. But if you remove the arial it will stay on and play other inputs...

      Just picked this tv up for free. All hdmi inputs work but the tv does not find any channels when scanning with cable. I haven't tried with an arial antenna.

      Is this a main board issue? EEPROM?
      I searched on here but didn't find anything.
