    Vizio vo47lfhdtv10a no display

    Hi,

I've got a Vizio vo47lfhdtv10a tv that, when I got it, wouldn't power up. I opened it up and found a bad capacitor on the power supply board and 4 bad caps on the inverter boards. I replaced all of them with low esr caps. One of the pictures shows where the bad cap was on the power supply board, the board was pretty charred, and I re-flowed all of the solder connections in that area.

After doing that, the TV now powers up, but I do not get a picture. The Orange led turns to White on the front.

I checked the voltages on the power supply board and they look good. I also checked to make sure that the fuses were good on the inverter boards, they are.

Along with the "no picture" issue, the power on/off button works very inadvertently, sometimes working, and other times not.

Is there a way to test the inverter boards?

Please let me know if there are specific voltages you would like me to check. Like I said above, I did check them, and but there may be some voltages that I should check that I was unaware of. Or you may want me to recheck ones, which is fine.

    Thanks!

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Looking for help with a Viewsonic VP230mb where the backlight comes on only momentarily
    by lostone
Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.

First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...

    Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

    Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.
