As you can see by the picture this is what is looks like on all inputs. Has anyone seen this before? Do any of you think it is a bad panel? Any ideas would be great and I appreciate the help.

Re: Phillips 47" Model @47PL5704D/F7 Screen Issue!
Well that doesn't look good. Any stress been put on the edges of the panel? fine cracks?can you see the menu or data being applied to the top area where the odd lines are?Did I leave the soldering iron on? -

Never mind I can see a picture in the top between the lines. Yes you have side tab bond separation. That would make it do this. Seen it before.Did I leave the soldering iron on?Comment

Re: Phillips 47" Model @47PL5704D/F7 Screen Issue!
yes it sounds like the tab bond has slowly been separating from the panel. now it's gotten to the point where it looks like this.
I highly doubt it will help but it's worth a shot. Take the panel bezel off and try pushing on the ribbons with a connect into the panel do the tops and the side connectors and see if it helps for changes at all well you're doing it of course it has to be on so you can see what's happening. Of course be careful not to touch the power supply or the inverter board. But there's not really any voltages that can hurt you pushing on the ribbon connectorsDid I leave the soldering iron on?Comment

by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by cloudyHi everybody
Since day one I'm having an unpleasant contrast/brightness issue on my Asus laptop.
Basically while watching movies, if subtitles appear on screen, the contrast or the brightness of the entire screen increases a lot (not sure if it'is brightness or contrast), disturbing the viewing of the movie.
Last year I replaced my screen because got damaged and this contrast/brigthness issue persists. It happens only on the laptop screen, in fact If i plug an external HDMI screen the issue does not occour on it.
It occours both on ubuntu and windows...01-01-2023, 05:12 PM -
by ScHAmPiHi all,
Because of two bright spots and a couple of dark spots I decided to replace the backlights in my Samsung UE48JU7000. See attached photos:
I thought all went well, but after full assembly and testing it out it turns out not all is fine. The backlights are completely fine but I have some weird issues on the right half of the screen. Since I didn't really touch the T-CON board (apart from taking out the ribbons of the display and reconnecting them on assembly) it would be weird that the issue is with the T-CON board... But based on the behavior of the service...2 Photos -
by Mad_ScienceI have a older eddy current tester made by Olympus that uses interchangeable TFT-LCD screens. I have two devices that each take the same removable screens. One is an Olympus NORTEC 200D+ and the other is an Olympus SONIC 1200M EMI. I have searched the internet high and low for service manuals for these units with no luck. Both these units were used extensively by the US military for NDT on airplanes. The detachable screen plugs into the base unit via a weird non standard VGA connector. Buttons on the removable display are used to power the units on. When the power button is pressed the unit makes...

by smic717394Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... - Loading...
