Samsung PN58A550S1FXZA turns on with audio chime, but doesn't completely turn on.

This is what it was doing. I plug the TV in and the power supply clicks a few times and the green LED lights turn off and on really fast one time. Then I let it stand for about 30 seconds while I write you this messege and it tries turning itself on by itself and fails halfway through, now the green lights are flashing at the same time non stop and there is constant clicking coming from the board on the left side of the TV . And that is it.

Disconnect the Ysus ribbon cable (bottom right/power lead (Top right) from the PS and try to turn on the unit.

Sorry, the Ysus is the board to your left, The Xmain is to your right (main board is covering part of it).

Disconnected this ribbon cable with the same outcome.

Okay I did the y-main. That's what the photo was.

Did you disconnect the power cable from the PS to the Ysus too? its the long pin connector at the top right of the Ysus board.

Could this be the infamous C102 problem with the mainboard?

Disconnected the power supply completely from the y-main. Same outcome

No this is not the main. I checked a lot of forums and asked a lot of repair offers for that issue and they all say it is not the same symptoms.

                                      Was thinking that too,

Lets try the Xmain, Same deal as the Ysus (leave the ysus disconnected still).

I am pretty sure with both Y-X not connected the unit still powered up.

Correct me if I am wrong, main board issue: cycles on and off trying to start up?
