    Panasonic TH-42PX70BA 7 blinks

I've got this panasonic doing 7 blinks - driver SOS2 (SC floating voltage area). It does a brief flash of the screen before giving the SOS.

With SC disconnected the TV powers up with no errors.

I'm not sure of the exact correct procedure to isolate buffers but have tried with SU/SD removed and still get 7 blinks. Can anyone tell me if this is the right test to eliminate the buffers as the problem? There's no SC50 jumper on this older model. Have checked for and found no shorts across the buffers.

The SC board is TNPA4182. None of the IGBTs show shorts and SC2 is not shorted.

Any pointers? I haven't found anything about this SC board or the px70 series on the forum. Anybody have any experience with them or similar?

    Thanks for any help!

Hi. Yes, what happened with this one is I removed the SC, tested all the IGBTs etc, including removing the left-most heatsink in order to test the bits underneath it. Found nothing faulty. Then when I put it all back together it was working so I think it was just a case of badly seated connectors - even though that was the first thing I'd checked.
