looking at it no, since it has all the same connectors, none missing or added the front power must be routed to one of those connectors instead of hard wired in so you'll end up with 2 power switches. could always remove the one off the board. will make this Tv a hybrid I guess. look like a C2 with x20 features

i can't give you 100% assurance except it's not the first time i've suggested this , just with the power switch it is a little unknown but using some logic here i expect it will be fine. you could get the manuals for both and compare the power cct. even compare a 42C2b to a 42X20b manuals depending on what you can find, will be good enough for a comparison

just looking, p34 is where your front switch goes to so there may either be a link that needs to be added or removed. have not worked it out yet

definitely not and thats BGA, be surprised if you have the gear for that. no it's 8 pin SOP8, ic9304, tvrr578 that's a panasonic number as it determines what data is put on it otherwise it's just a blank made by someone then programmed.

thee's 4 or 5 of these things so any of those may cause it but i'm just sharing my situation so don't assume or expect i'm right, it's a punt!

don't even think about messing with the board. The board you have photographed is not the same as the one photographed in that Ebay listing assuming that's the one you purchased.

It's not a 720P HD TV board it's a 1080P FHD board . Contact the seller and get a refund. If youlist the part number and revision we may be able to work out what's it's from.

if you had received the board listed and from an X20 then it would connect, simple as that.
