I've had this tv since about 2007-2008, about a couple of weeks ago the tv would power up normally but after a couple of minutes of good picture, it would start to fade to a bleached white. Sound and everything else works fine. I suspected the T-con board and removed it to inspect it, i re-installed it and now there are a few vertical lines on some parts of the screen along with the fading picture. Should i just go ahead and replace the t-con board or should i replace anything else? Any tips and feedback would be appreciated! thanks!

hard to tell, I'd go for a tcon, if you can get one reasonable, could also have other problems but maybe not. -

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the... -

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.
When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.
