Phillips 32PFL7603D 6 blinks on led

Hi all and a very Happy New year.
Does anyone know what a 6 blinks fault code means on a Philips 32pfl7603d. The tv is a bit of a pain to switch on and can take several attempts before it comes on. I have replaced all the caps including the main 450v ones. Rather than spend any more time on it, if the code means the psu is faulty, I'd rather go and buy a replacement.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

Hi nomoresonys. Have not looked at the Inverter board :-/ Did you have the 6 blink fault with that problem?

Have checked and tested Inverter board. Have disconnected the feed to the Inverter and this still resulted in the 6 blink fault.

I'd start by looking all the boards over real good, check anything labeled F, F=fuse, careful working with power supply, HIGH VOLTAGE, on primary side, can be deadly, then see if your getting expected voltages coming from power supply, should be a legend of expected voltages by pins where connectors go.

                  Panasonic SA-MAX770PU SMPSU board fault....
                  by Rictech
                  Hello everyone. 😀

As per thread title, this unit has a serious SMPSU fault. It blows F1001, which is a 10A M205 in the phase from the mains input.
Very first thing I tried, was simply replacing the fuse, but the replacement ceramic fuse blew immediately.

Looking at the schematic for this PSU, I then removed what I thought was the next likely candidate: D1001 - the HV main bridge rectifier.
This isolated the fault(no longer blows the main fuse), but does not point me to the actual fault.
There are no devices that have exploded or otherwise show signs...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
                  by Nairolf
                  Hello,

                  I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
                  1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
                  2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
                  3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

                  • Prior owner tried a replacement main board. No difference.
                  • Samsung 2x red blinking standby LED = panel fault
                  • Jumpered FB_TRDY_1 (pin 1 CN1300 left. main tcon->left side buffer boards) and FB_TRDY_3 (pin 95 CN1301 right. main tcon->right side buffer boards) This allows testing individual T-Con (on main board) connection to panel on this Samsung. Found fault on left side (viewing from rear of TV)
                  • Each side has 2 buffer boards, disconnected left side flex between 2 buffer boards. Fault is on the left most board.
                  • Tape masking eventually isolated to CN1300 pin 15 (CKV4_GOA) Display

ESR meter came to the rescue again today with a PLC I/O card fault
                  by sam_sam_sam
I have been having a fun time at work with two pieces of equipment that had shorted components or shorted component cables to machine frame
I would check what my multi meter was telling me about how many ohms I getting with the multi meter was telling versus the ESR was telling me about weather or not it really was a short to machine ground or not

One note at first we thought that it might be a bad I/O card or a malfunction PLC including me as well but I thought I would try and see if removing the I/O cables would make a difference or not and this time it did make a difference...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
                  by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.
