So by the sounds of it, you replaced the y sus and the main power and re-plugged in the ribbon cable?

    Hi,
How to put the TV on pattern mode please?

So I decided to jump the test line and see if the controller board was working and low and behold screen lit up and colors were cycling as well as scrolling bar and other pattens no screen defects to be seen.

I started checking voltages VA/VS were spot on as well as VZB, I noticed that the VSCN and VY were pretty low -110/75. I pulled the meter off and sat back to think and the panel shut down after 5-6 min.

I turned it back to only to get no screen prime and or test patters. Now my VZB a voltage is 203v and my Ysus voltages are -130/110 (supposed to be (-185/150)).

I noticed the bottom most fuse on the ysus is open near the Vy pot, I don't know what happened or why it tanked.

My only assumption was that the Ysus board got damaged in shipping the seller didn't have any bubblewrap ran it was loosely sitting in a box, but when I put the meter on it it has really good resistance.

I'll probably just go with a projector now that plasmas are no longer sold.

    Heh why not!

Seriously though, I like to game and have buddies come over and bring their xbox/ps4 or whatever and play games.

Also like to watch sports and game at the same time too.

figured I had 2 of these and they match and I really didnt want to sell the one I fixed so I just kept it and thus LG wall was born.

That looks like a pretty epic mancave, but I must ask... why do you need two 60" plasmas?

Here is the finished product of both LG 60PV450's mounted on the wall in my man cave!

One on the left is the one I made this thread about, the other is one I snagged on the cheap on CL about a year ago or more.

They are the same TV but have differences, the one on the right is newer and the UI is different, the one on the Left is the first run and the UI is also slightly different.

Only cosmedic difference is the right one has a silver pin stripe on the bottom of the bezel and the left one is blacked out.

This is a pretty impressive site in person, 120" of plasma on one wall!

Again thank you to everyone who had helped me get this sucker back up and breathing again!

    And fixed.

So lessons learned with this one, the whole damn time the ribbon cable from the control board to the mainbord was cockeyed on the mainboard side (I never touched this) and was causing the screen to not fully come on with a non test pattern picture.

I Fitted the ribbon perfectly and hot damn this son of bitch works great.

I would also like to add that I am using revision 2 boards from Panel Sticker Number PDP60R30110 mine is PDP60R30000 and they are compatible.

I using ysus, upper and lower y drives and xboard from the PDP60R30110.

Gonna let it soak for a bit after I put it back together.

/whipes brow, glad this is done for now.

One other update for tonight. So I replaced the new y sustain that was bad with the old one and put it back in the TV hooked up the buffers and everything and the screen turns on there's prime and I can run the test patterns everything looks great so I'm back to square one with screen prime no picture (audio).

Also, VSC and VY are still very low.

I bought a service manual for this unit, it appears to be a flow chart/repair schematic for mainboard functions.

If you want to add it to your database I can send it to you.

Ok, being that I am flying blind here with no service manual I am now just going to use this thread to document my finds and outcomes.

So with the 60" PVXXX series you must have the Ysus and xmain hooked up (no buffers and no flat ribbon cable connected to the lower buffer) to the control board and SMPS to get VZB reading off the Xmain, you will not get any VZB voltage without the y/x sending 18v back and forth to the controller board.

I don't know of any other method to test the xmain board solo.

So my xmain is reading 105.74 VZB (zbias) panel is 110 spec.

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
    by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

    Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

    First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
    by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

    Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Acer Nitro XV273 and Predator XB273, look inside and disassembly guide.
    by Flaku_34
    Introduction:
Hello everyone, this topic is more of a knowledge sharing and look inside type of post, but for someone working on this model of display it might be useful. Recently I bought Acer Nitro XV273 XB MIIPRZX with busted electronic, but screen was intact, price was incredibly low, so I took a gamble and bought the unit and try to fix it. As I dug inside, I found out that my motherboard was not responding, although all voltages seemed fine. I wasn't able to find any reliable information about this monitor on the web (only some pictures of motherboards from Ebay). By some research...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
    by TR103
    Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
    - sound and backlight, but no picture
    - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
    - it keeps rebooting
    - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
    - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
    - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

    - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
    by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and
