    Samsung PN59D7000FFXZA Cycling On Off

I have a Samsung PN59D7000FFXZA that when plugged in it displays the last source (HDMI 3) in the corner and then displays a Samsung Smart TV banner then it turns itself off and repeats this until unplugged. The Remote Control won't respond either as I tried to see if I could find a menu to reset...Any idea which board is to blame? I haven't taken the back off yet and can put up pics when I do if needed. The set is spotless otherwise. Thanks!

Most likely it's the main A/V board

Can you post a picture of your control/logic board? It's the centre most green board in the set.

Troubleshooting same problem on PN59D7000FFXZA. The unit will power up for 2 - 3 minutes and then reset. This is continuous.
Question: Did the problem get resolved by replacing the main logic control board or by component repair?

Most likely it is auto upgrading firmware but failed to complete.
Try this to see if it helps:

When it shows the Samsung Logo, press MUTE 2 5 8 EXIT

Thanks for your quick response. I tried the procedure you suggested several times with no change. The unit will power up with audio and video and then do a power reset after 2 minutes and 20 seconds. It seems to be very consistent timing. I checked online for software update and the unit is up to date. The auto update is enabled. Any ideas?
            Thanks again. ReddPhredd

It's better to turn the auto update off. May be try to do a factory reset, mute 1 8 2 power
and choose to factory reset to see. Though you must do it within 2 minutes.

Re: Samsung PN59D7000FFXZA Cycling On Off

Tried the sequence with no luck. I press the mute button and the muted symbol appears on screen. I enter digits (1 8 2) and press power button. The tv powers down. There's no factory reset in menu mode to do the reset. Not sure I am doing the reset correctly. There is no indication from tv that anything is happening. Is there something I am doing incorrectly? Appreciate the help. Thanks ... ReddPhredd
