I have a Samsung PN59D7000FFXZA that when plugged in it displays the last source (HDMI 3) in the corner and then displays a Samsung Smart TV banner then it turns itself off and repeats this until unplugged. The Remote Control won't respond either as I tried to see if I could find a menu to reset...Any idea which board is to blame? I haven't taken the back off yet and can put up pics when I do if needed. The set is spotless otherwise. Thanks!

Re: Samsung PN59D7000FFXZA Cycling On Off
Most likely it's the main A/V board
Can you post a picture of your control/logic board? It's the centre most green board in the set. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung PN59D7000FFXZA Cycling On Off
Thanks for your quick response. I tried the procedure you suggested several times with no change. The unit will power up with audio and video and then do a power reset after 2 minutes and 20 seconds. It seems to be very consistent timing. I checked online for software update and the unit is up to date. The auto update is enabled. Any ideas?
Thanks again. ReddPhredd

Re: Samsung PN59D7000FFXZA Cycling On Off
Tried the sequence with no luck. I press the mute button and the muted symbol appears on screen. I enter digits (1 8 2) and press power button. The tv powers down. There's no factory reset in menu mode to do the reset. Not sure I am doing the reset correctly. There is no indication from tv that anything is happening. Is there something I am doing incorrectly? Appreciate the help. Thanks ... ReddPhreddLast edited by ReddPhredd; 01-31-2016, 01:03 PM.
