Could just be an off-axis photo from an LCD i.e. backlight no picture. But on a modern TV like this there is a good chance that backlight no picture is caused by a panel failure.

Thanks tom66 the guy is asking 200 or best offer but at that price big risk of it being panel failure it is not worth it.

Are you sure it's not a UN60EH6003F? I don't know of a 2F. The 6003F is a 3D LED. That and the 60EH6000F are having a very high T-con rate failure. I know because I sold several T-cons lately for them and they go very quickly on Ebay. My guess is it's a 6003 with a bad t-con. The t-con will run around $150-$200 but there are some places offering repairs on them for $50 or so.

Again, this is completely a guess.

Yep. It's crazy. I see a couple on Ebay right now in the $110-$120 range but who knows if they are any good. Sad thing is this TV is only 2 years old and was around $1000 new.

that could get very expensive if the tcons just keep on failing each one you put in.

last phillips I fixed, I drilled a bunch of one inch holes in the back cover to let a lot of the heat out.

Maybe it's possible to identify the fault with some testing, but in my mind $200 is a lot to pay for a broken TV when the panel could be a possible fault.
