    Samsung LE40B579 Boot Loop

    Hey there!

I have a Problem with my Samsung LE40B579. Unfortunately I played around in the SM of my TV and tried to activate the “USB Features to play movies”. That worked quite well with a change of the model but after that only one speaker was working, so I went back to the service menu to switch back to the old model number.
Since then my TV is in a boot loop and won't come up again. I've tried to go into the service menu several times, but it doesn't work.

Any Ideas how to fix my TV? Would be really great if anyone could help me!

By the way, I've already read about EEPROM reset but can't figure out where the EEPROM is on my board.

    Board Number: BN41 01167C MP1.1

    Greetings
    Mario

You would probably need to install a new main board to fix this, as there is no other way I am aware of to access the service menu.

      Hmm... Sounds not that good
I looked for the Board on ebay and its about 100€ (~124$)

Is there no other possibility? As i allready mentioned above, I've read something about EEPROM flashing? Isn't that worth a try?

Can you supply clear detailed pictures of both the top and bottom of the board?

                Re: Samsung LE40B579 Boot Loop

I've highlighted some POTENTIAL candidates. Please get the part numbers from each.

There may also be devices on the bottom of the board, so please take some photos of that side.

                  Thx tom,

I've taken photos from the back of the board. Furthermore i noted the part numbers of the highlighted candidates on the picture.

really thx for your help so far!!

I actually missed to mark/note the number from one possible EEPROM at the back_bottom.jpg
Its the same number as the one on back_top.jpg
